HORIZONS

napowrimo#6 is inspired by my paintings

HORIZONS

my paintings explore the sacredness of place
influenced by serene prairie landscape
with the horizon a theme or metaphor
a point of stillness
reflecting back both top and bottom
some balanced energy
inviting more than describing
a tight sliver of line
where the sky meets the land
sometimes calm sometimes restless
an interplay between inner being
and physical outside world
the magnetic interval between these worlds
creating tension
between light and space
a placelessness between
the spiritual and material reality
always there

I can see this in your Prairie Sky #6. Sliver conjures silver too...& wonderful liminal spaces. A gratitude of Horizons.
